My name is Grace and this blog serves to document my new adventure living in Seoul, Korea teaching English.
I graduated in 2010 from Macalester College with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Hispanic Studies. After doing various unpaid literary internships in Seattle (Seattle Magazine, Foodista, Seattlest) I decided it was time for a change and began a new life teaching English in Santiago, Chile and getting my TEFL certification. A year in a half later, I find myself addicted to travel and signed up to teach more English in Korea. While I´m sad to leave Chile, a place that truly became my home, I´m absolutely thrilled to discover a new culture, totally different from South America, and to face it head on. I will be teaching at LCI Suji Academy in Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, which is an area about 40 minutes outside of Seoul.
